KobyEx and COVID-19
Like all of you, we are figuring out how to live in a world with Coronavirus. We have made several changes to make sure you stay healthy, which we have outlined below.
But most importantly, we want to say THANK YOU for standing by us during this crisis. Small businesses like ours have been impacted particularly hard by COVID-19. With so many Americans losing their jobs, we know that every dollar matters more now than ever.
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. Every purchase helps us continue our mission of giving back to the military community.
How We Are Keeping You Safe
Your health and safety are important to us. That’s why our founders are making cloth face masks and including one FREE with every purchase.
Amy, the co-founder of KobyEx, has been hard at work sewing masks for every customer, making sure you and your loved ones stay healthy.
Why Cloth Masks Matter
Why are we giving away cloth masks? Because we want to protect you and those around you. Here at KobyEx, we follow the CDC’s guidelines to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.
Research shows that COVID-19 is spread through saliva and other respiratory droplets when a person talks, coughs, or sneezes. Those standing less than six feet from an infected person can catch the virus when those droplets enter the body through breathing or touching the face, nose, mouth, or eyes.
Wearing a cloth mask keeps these droplets from getting into the air and infecting others.
Think about the virus as red food coloring in a spray bottle. If you spray directly into the air, without any protection, those standing nearby will likely end up with red droplets on their face, hands, and clothing. But if you place a towel over the spray bottle, the red stain stays on the cloth, protecting those standing nearby.
Cloth masks aren’t foolproof. But they do keep those around you safe.
Wearing a Mask Protects Those You Love
Even if you don’t have symptoms, or don’t feel sick, you could still have the virus and not know it. A cough, sneeze, or even talking can spread the virus to others around you.
Wearing a cloth mask keeps the virus contained.
Cloth masks aren’t about protecting yourself. They’re about protecting those you love.
Cloth masks can prevent you from transmitting the virus – keeping your family, your friends, your neighbors, and those in your community safe. Even if you feel fine, you should wear a mask to keep everyone around you safe.
If you can’t stay at least six feet away from another person, the CDC recommends everyone over the age of two wear a mask.
The Right Way to Wear Your Mask
It might feel strange at first to wear a mask any time you’re out in public. We’re all getting used to this “new normal” and learning how to protect ourselves and others.
Luckily, our namesake, Koby, wanted to show you how to wear your mask the right way.
- The mask should cover both your nose and your mouth, and should be tightly-fitted under your chin and on your cheeks.
- Make sure you can breathe comfortably while wearing the mask.
- Wash your hands with soap and water (or use hand sanitizer if soap isn’t available) before and after putting on your mask.
- Avoid adjusting your mask or touching the front of the mask when wearing it.
- Remove the mask from the ears, without touching the front of the mask.
- Wash your mask with laundry soap after each use. Dry in a dryer or place in direct sunlight to dry.
- Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after removing your mask.
COVID-19 and Shipping Delays

Please know that we are doing everything in our power to get your KobyEx products delivered as fast as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
We appreciate your patience!
